A safe and supportive school and home climate can help prevent mental health issues, stigmas, anti-gay thinking and actions, bullying, and much more. Safety starts in the home. Children should also feel and be safe everywhere. On campus—in the cafeteria, in the library, in the rest rooms, on the bus, and on the playground. Everyone at home and in schools can work together to create a climate where bullying and stigmas are not acceptable and or developed.
